Workshop on 3D Digitizer Singapore ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter (SSC) is pleased to announce the following 3Dworkshop. The aim of the workshop is to introduce the benefits of 3D scanning and how the scanned data can be used in different fields, from animation to engineering. During the workshop, we will also be discussing possible joint projects among members of SSC. A 3D digitizer will be made available for SSC members to use for a period of time after the workshop.This workshop is limited to 30 persons only. Technique Workshop Series Video Show of ACM Symposium on Interactive 3D Graphics (I3D) 2001

The I3D 2001 was held in the Research Triangle Park, NC, March 19-21,2001. This is the 7th symposium in the I3D series and marks a return to the Chapel Hill area, site of the first I3D in 1986. In this show, the DVD-ROM proceedings will be used to show the demos and results of the accepted papers categorized into 9 sessions: interactive technologies, polygon meshes, image-based modeling and rendering, creation of artistic artifacts, viewing large models, shape representation, rendering techniques, interactive modeling, and texture creation.

2) Maya Hard Surface & Organic Modelling : 25 - 26 August 2001
3) Maya Animation & Character Animation : 29 - 30 September 2001
4) Maya Rendering & Paint Effects : 27 - 28 October 2001

Time will commence from 10am - 5pm on Sat & Sun of every module.
Payment is to be made on the first day of each module.
